Hey friends, it’s been a while but a couple weeks ago me and some friends made this in a day for the LA Film Project’s Project Red Eye (think Mad Dash but better organized). Sound is a little on the low side but I generally like the way it came out quite a bit. Enjoy!

This is the last of the five music videos making up a forthcoming digital EP Kyle has affectionately dubbed “Supermoon” to be released next week on Tuesday May 29th. I hope the few of you following these have enjoyed yourselves. Be sure to check out the actual EP release next week and stick around, all of this is but a warm up for some more interesting stuff we have coming shortly.

This week, Kyle covers the late great Elliott Smith’s Twilight off of From A Basement On The Hill (my personal favorite of his). While definitely not the best work on the video front (my bad), Kyle has played it quite well for quite some time and I’m glad it’s finally found a proper place. This is the fourth of five music videos making up a forthcoming digital EP Kyle has affectionately dubbed “Supermoon” to be released on May 29th.

Like Water is a song going back as long as I’ve been friends with Kyle. It’s gone through countless placements on albums that never came to be before finally finding it’s home here. This is the third of five music videos making up a forthcoming digital EP Kyle has affectionately dubbed “Supermoon” to be released on May 29th.

On March 19th 2011, the moon reached the point on its elliptical orbit when it would be the closest to our planet it would be for eighteen years. Drunk on a sense of self worth stemming from newly acquired equipment, Kyle Vardel (Internet Crush//The Box Factory) and Omar Kucevich decided to take advantage of the uncharacteristically bright night sky and film an impromptu concert at Doheni Beach. This is the first of five music videos making up a forthcoming digital EP Kyle has affectionately dubbed “Supermoon”. Enjoy.

Welcome to the creative side. What you are seeing now is the beginning of something I have been kicking around for some time now. I began to realize that perhaps my constant barrage of pop culture references and GIFs wasn’t the best environment to try and spread my own original work. With that in mind I have created this new space dedicated to showcasing my own work without the distraction of the constant stream of internet shenanigans. Worry not, OMAR IS WATCHING shall ever remain such a space for those of you solely interested in such things. However, if you’d like to keep with my own work directly, please follow this blog and spread it around. I will of course be reblogging posts here from my main Tumblr for the foreseeable future, so those of you not interested in following two of my blogs will still be able to see such things in that way. Anyways, welcome to OMAR MAKES STUFF, and thank you for reading.
